The girl was... interesting, to say the least. She was dressed quite oddly for a shinobi, as far as Akira had experienced anyway. And he had only seen a few shinobi who actually carried a sword with them on their person... Very odd, indeed. He listened while she spoke; so she was abducted in her sleep, just like Ino was. This was so strange; what was the plan here? Get a bunch of kids together and have them realize that while everyone is different, they all have similarities and can relate to one another? This wasn't detention in the academy.
Otogakure? Where was that? Akira hadn't heard of it - no, he wasn't a geography expert, but he was pretty sure that every hidden village that was known of had a place in his world map back home. But maybe not. It was even more strange how obediently that girl answered the question. Akira didn't know anyone who was that eager to please, especially not when asked by strangers. He knew that Ino had a commanding tone, though...
"Um, okay then... Hello, Katsu. I'm Akira," and he turned to Ino to let her introduce herself, not wanting to take it upon itself if she didn't want to give her name. "Have you seen anyone else around here?" He asked, looking around, but his surrounding seemed the same.

She'd bow her back just a bit, politely, before returning to her more erect position once more. So this girl was from a place known as the Hidden Sound Village. Ino'd never heard of it before, but due to it was somewhat hesitant about whether or not they should trust the girl enough to travel with her. Regardless, it was possible that the girl could give them some hints as to what this place was and how to get out of it if she were in fact untrustworthy.
In short, the benefits of having an enemy with them outweighed the plausible dangers. They had nothing else to go off of and could see no exit, even in the distance. Ino would cross her arms and sigh. Akira had asked yet another insightful question that Ino herself likely would have asked had he not... though Ino was still a bit reluctant to trust any answer the girl may give. Regardless, any answer she gave could be dissected exhaustively.

Smiling weakly, she clapped her hands together, making a soft sound to begin her sentence. "Otogakure is a village in the Land of Sound... E-Erm it use to be known as the Land of Rice Fields..? E-Erk! Any way, we're a new village, but we pride ourselves in an undetectable village that is spread out throughout the land and powerful, diverse and dedicated shinobi!" she chirped, almost as if repeating something that had been told to her over and over again by someone, almost like a sales pitch.
"O-Oh! No, I haven't seen anyone around here aside from you two," she explained tilting her head as her hands clasped together gently in front of her. Looking about, she frowned as she noticed the sand. "E-Excuse me... but have either of you used jutsu..? Erm... My sister told me that when an enemy is near... not to use jutsu if you can help it.. Using jutsu could alert any sensors they have with them.." With that, she scratched the back of her head and laughed lightly, "N..Not to be paranoid, but with this kind of situation... Akira tried not to look puzzled when the girl spoke. She recited everything off like it had been drilled into her head. It was a bit strange, but maybe that was the norm in her village - Otogakure. Akira was going to have to ingrain that name into his memory to look it up whenever they got home... Or, at this rate, if they got home... No. He stopped immediately, not letting that train of thought go any further. They were going to get out of here, and they were going to be just fine.
At the mention of jutsu, Akira paused for a moment. Ino had used one without his consent... But it wasn't like they could do anything about it now. "Well, yes. Ino used one. But I think that whoever brought us must be pretty strong, and would be able to find us no matter what." He turned, looking off into the vast nothingness that was this desert. The main thing was for them to stay calm, and try to come up with some sort of plan. At least there were three of them - Akira did feel a sense of safety in numbers.
"I definitely think you're right about that. Whoever is out there is probably watching us now. We better stay on guard..." He spoke smoothly, surprising himself by staying calm.

The other two shinobi whom she was now working with seemed to be thinking of counter-strategies at the moment. But their viewpoints were quite flawed. They didn't know what was out there at the moment. Anything could be, really. Or, it could be as they anticipated, and they could be alone in this desert. Regardless, they had absolutely no idea where they were and could see no exit upon the horizon.
Ino shrugged.
"Being found wouldn't necessarily be a bad things... it could be exactly what we need, particularly if someone is trying to rescue us," Ino lectured. She'd then turn to the other girl.
"Regardless, if it's sensors you are worried about, they can typically sense you regardless of whether or not you avoid using your chakra. So there's little point in avoiding using your chakra if you need to... unless of course you know how to conceal your chakra signature entirely," Ino suggested. She had only heard of such an ability mentioned by her father on a couple of occasions. Some members of her clan were notorious sensors, though at this point Ino herself was not. But she was at least educated on the topic.

Both of them made a lot of sense. Katsu felt so stupid now! She nodded along as they both spoke. "Y-Yeah... I know back home people are always watching each other, and... erm, this definitely feels like that.." she said, softly, almost as if bashful after her last suggestion.
"E-Erm... if being found w-was a good idea... w..why don't we have someone use jutsu..?" she asked softly. Looking up, Katsu tilted her head to the side. It was a stupid idea, but she didn't know what else to suggest. Also, if they did go along with her idea, they'd probably expect her to use the jutsu... and she really couldn't use any real jutsu like they could. Akira frowned; well, that was a bit harsh. Then again, he had never known Ino for her tact. "While yes, being found by someone who wants to rescue us would be great, it could be by someone who would rather see us torn into pieces... I don't think we've been pulled out here for a tea party, unfortunately..." That rose the question again: Why were they here? It seemed pointless to drop a bunch of kids in a desert when it would be easier just to kill them and not bother moving them around. It was puzzling, to say the least. He only hoped that they weren't left here in confusion for much longer.
"I don't know, if you guys think it's a good idea I'm fine with it, but I'm really not sure what to do at this point." Brutally honest, but he didn't really see the point of lying about it and acting with false bravado.

But it really didn't matter regardless in the scheme of things. If there were people searching for them, they would find them in a matter of time, especially if the people were from Konohagakure no Sato. But it seemed at this very moment that they were no where near Konoha in the first place... that was the problem. That and this girl from Otogakure no Sato. Ino really couldn't help it, but she couldn't put much trust into the girl. She didn't have much of a choice at the moment, nor any great alternatives, buts he simply didn't trust her.
"I still think that it's our best bet to continue on until we find food or water. Using our energy without a source to draw more from doesn't seem like a good idea, especially when most sensors should be able to find us regardless of whether or not we use jutsu," Ino would say. She shrugged her shoulders and turned her attention to Katsu. Ino would glare at her briefly, attempting to read the girl.
"You... unless you have some way to help us, I think we should go our separate ways. Sorry to say, but in a situation like this, we can't go trusting anyone willy nilly."
