[atrb=style, padding: 5px][atrb=border,0,btable][atrb=style,background-color: #E3E3E3,true] | Clan name: Karasu Clan Country of Origin: Hi No Kuni Hidden Village: Konohagakure no Sato Chakra Nature: | | APPEARANCE | Member of this clan are typically tall, a full-grown adult male ranging from 6"0 to 6"7. Very rarely are any of the members of the clan under 6 feet. Their hair is typically rather dark, either the black of a raven's feather or the brown the cover the eagles wings. Their skin is generally a bit on the pale side, but always retaining a bit of a glow from many days spent out in the sun. Their eyes are sharp-looking, and usually a lighter colour - some kind of light blue or green. For body build they are typically of a lighter build, with elongated features and tight muscles, although they don't appear to be overly muscular. More so their focus is on speed and flexibility.
DESCRIPTION | The clan itself is rather small, and is broken up into two factions.
Head Faction - This consists of only 4 men, who are the leaders of the clan. They make executive decisions, concern themselves of the safety and the secrecy of the clan. As it stands right now, two of the leaders are brothers, and two of them are not blood clan members. The group needs at least three to agree on any decision before any action is carried out. Before one can join the Head Faction, they must be chosen by the Main Faction.
Main Faction - This is the largest faction and the group in which most of the clan members fall into. All of the people in this faction do have a say in what the clan itself does - they choose their leaders, after all. This consists of everyone born into the clan and those who were invited in, for one reason or another.
The members of the clan are very stringent on their beliefs, and they are passed down to their children. The skill and importance of survival is engraved into them deeply. Being capable of leaving when necessary is taught, not being afraid to flee if the situation calls for it. They are taught a sense of community, but only keeping to their family, clan members and their friends. They are taught to treat women with respect, and maintain a respectful demeanor when addressing their elders.
| | The Karasu clan is shrouded in mystery, not being a tale that they enjoy to regale.
The man who originally founded the clan was a man of great demeanor, power and respect among his community. Being gifted in both fuuton and raiton, he developed multiple techniques based upon them, and most importantly he developed techniques based around birds. The founder, Joren, was very interested in birds; he spent a portion of his early life studying them. Crows were always his favourite, but he had a soft spot for eagles as well. He collected their feathers, and learned how to use them in his jutsu.
Originally, the clan was founded in Otogakure. It began very small, and remains as such today: a father teaching his unique skills to his son. It grew when he taught it to another boy, not a son of his but one that he also held close to his heart. In this manner, it grew until it was a clan of about 15 or so people. They remained small and for the most part, slightly isolated; they didn't grow with Otogakure itself. They did not like the ideals of Otogakure and decided to abandon the village just a short 15 years ago. All 15 clan members, left under the cover of nightfall, never to see their village again.
They traveled for what felt like quite some time, unsure of when to stop, when a place was safe to join. They made their way into Hi No Kuni, and eventually into Konohagakure. Every person was tired, weary from travel and tired of living on the run. After staying in the village for a short amount of time, as visitors, they decided to make this place their permanent residence. It wasn't particularly easy, considering their past status as members of another village, but after managing to befriend and gain the trust of several high-up individuals within the village, the Head Faction made it happen. And with that, the Karasu clan left Otogakure in their past and hardly speaks of it to this day.
| | - FLEXIBILITY/AGILITY -- Members of this clan often put a particular focus on maintaining their flexibility and being agile in the battlefield. While they are not often extreme powerhouses in close combat, they are very skilled at maneuvering through battlefields, dodging attacks and reacting very quickly to changes during battles. They do different kinds of stretches and exercises to keep their muscles in good condition.
- USE OF WEAPONS -- Due to their jutsu in turning feathers into weapons, the Karasu clan is very knowledgeable and versatile when it comes to weapons. They don't stick to your typical kunai and shuriken - although every member starts there, they focus on growing beyond that to include a myriad of weapons that their opponents might not be familiar with, in order to gain an advantage during battle.
- MUSICAL ABILITY -- Due to their roots in Otogakure, and the sound-based techniques that they still hold on to today, most members of the clan have some sort of musical ability. They often do not showcase it, except in more private scenarios, but they have a keen ear for tune and melody and can generally produce it very well on many different instruments.
- CONNECTION WITH BIRDS -- Each member of the clan has a natural affinity with birds, and they are often drawn to the members of this clan. Many members in fact have a summoning contract with a group of birds of mixed breeds, who can be summoned for different purposes.
- FEZA-ENGI (FEATHERPLAY) -- This is the clans secret technique, their Hiden. It is not a skill that they are born with, and is instead taught to the clan members. In its most basic form, Feza-Engi is the art of using jutsu based around feathers and using their properties to one's advantage during a fight. Most notably, they are able to use feathers to transform different scales of weapons. This allows them to travel much lighter and not be weighed down with weapons or scrolls, as well as summon large weapons for themselves. The feathers prove themselves to be quite useful in different forms of genjutsu, as well, their colours and lightweight dancing able to easily captivate and capture a target.

Hey! Your clan seems interesting to say the least! I liked your creativity. Just a few fixes methinks. History You say that the clan was founded in Otogakure and use that as a basis for their sound techniques. Otogakure was only founded some 25 or so years ago. The clan wouldn't even have gone through a single generation yet. At this point it seems to be the canon fact that Orochimaru created Otogakure. He did not take it over. Feza-Kunai Torikae (Feather-Kunai Swap) Is this a Henge Technique? If so, does it still bare any resemblance to a feather or does it look entirely like a normal kunai? Is this a permanent change? And being that this is a jutsu, mentioned the necessity of the use of hand seals. Feza-Dansu (Feather Dance) It parlyzes the target, is that right? I'm having difficulty telling exactly what it does. The word "disable" can be very ambiguous. Is the user supposed to be previously wearing the brightly colored feathers? If not, where do they come from? And being that this is a jutsu, mentioned the necessity of the use of hand seals. Lastly, if it disables the opponent it should be C or B rank. Feza-Bakudan (Feather Bomb) The user controls the feathers with chakra, right? Or do they move on their own? This is important to know because it determines how much focus is necessary to manipulate them and whether other jutsu can be used simultaneously. Fuuton: Feza-boufuu (Feather Storm) Sounds like a B rank with how much stuff it combines. You should probably include the use of hand seals to start it off.

Oto Hibiki (Sound Echo) D-rank please. Kyoumeisen (Vibrating Sound Drill) That is too much like Dosu's style nd needs to be removed. Otoshouheki (Sound Barrier) This jutsu needs a lot more description, such as how comprehensive and transitory the shield is. I'm thinking that it's most likely more fitting of a C-rank technique as well.

Done. Changed the rank, removed and added more details. Anything else? Is that enough detail?

Otoshouheki (Sound Barrier) I'm still kind of iffy about the rank on this jutsu, possibly leaning toward B. But right now I think I'll just approve it. If it's used IC and seems stronger than a C-rank, I may ask you to edit it to a higher rank or make it weaker. Other than that, approved.

Do you want me to weaken it? I can do that, but not sure how, I didn't think I'd made it too strong... It can only deflect basic attacks and requires a lot of chakra, precision, and full concentration to not only use the chakra but to produce the whistle. I'd be happy to make any changes you deem necessary.
