Kiba has a wild appearance that comes with having the attributes more akin to animals. He has messy brown hair, slightly longer canines, fingernails that can change into claws and sharp black eyes with vertical-slit pupils. His body is in excellent shape, and his skin is very tanned from hours spent outside. The signature red fang markings of his clan are also on his cheeks. All of this combined makes him look very intimidating when he is serious or very demonic when he is up to some mischief.

His ninja outfits consist of dark grey pants that make into his calves with bandages wrapped around his right thigh where his ninja holster is located, a grey, hooded jacket that is lined with fur, an armor plate and a fishnet undershirt and the usual Konoha headband and blue sandals.

Kiba's main flaw is that he has a temper that has a fuse that isn't much longer than a girl's miniskirt. It causes him to make mistakes during battle, which doesn't help given his impulsive nature. He tends to clash with those who try to challenge his authority as he believes himself to be an alpha, which means he has the natural right to lead.

His animal-like qualities make him enjoy facing off against other shinobi, and he gets an extra thrill from facing someone that is stronger. This is not to say that he doesn't like losing a fight, but Kiba does respect someone who can best him.

Kiba is very loyal to both his clan and his friends, so anyone who would mess or insult them will feel his wrath. He tends to form a pack-like bond with them, and everyone knows that one must protect the pack at all costs.

Now, he can be quite immature at some times with playing pranks on people or teasing those about how they feel about someone, but he never lets it get in the way of the mission. He also doesn't take it so far as to truly cause a permanent disruption in the friendship.

Being born into the Inuzuka Clan, Kiba was given a ninja dog by the name of Akamaru at a young age. The two were always playing with one another before entering the Academy, which ticked off his mother, Tsume, because they weren't' training to be a real shinobi team. Kiba enrolled into the Academy at the age of eight at his mother's insistence.

Unfortunately, Kiba didn't do that well during his early years at the Academy as he frequently ditched class. He was often seen with Choji, Shikamaru and Naruto in the practice hall where they would do anything but practice. Testing his instructor's patience was one of his favorite things to do while at the Academy, but even he knew it couldn't last forever.

At some point during his time at the Academy, Kiba met his father, but his mother scared him away. Alas, this didn't stop him from staying close with her and his sister, who he always seemed to be arguing with because she thought that she was better than him.

Once it looked like Kiba was going to graduate, Tsume began teaching him some of the clan's jutsu that he could use with Akamaru whenever they were on a mission. He graduated at the age of twelve and was placed on team eight, which was more commonly known as Team Kurenai.
