Standing at nearly four foot eight inches, Naruto is at a relatively average height for his age. A typical blonde, the young ninja has blue eyes to match his straw colored hair. Rounded facial features, Naruto has a very youthful face and small dimples that have developed over time because of his constant smiling. It should also be known that he has markings on either side of his face that resemble whiskers, almost like a fox or a cat or some other type of animal.

The genin's body is small, but not underdeveloped in any way. Average, height, average weight and an average body type, one wouldn't quite take him a taijutsu user for the most part but he is still quite fit, as he does have a small amount of definition.

For clothing, he normally wears an orange track suit. On the shoulders of the suit and upon the back is the symbol of the Whirlpool Country, signifying the connection between Konoha and the lost country. Underneath the track suit is a plain black t-shirt with Konoha's Symbol on it, though he normally will not take his jacket off so it's usually a toss up at whether or not he will wear it.

Naruto is a hot-headed, headstrong boy with a heart of gold and a radiant smile. As an orphan, the young ninja doesn't quite have the normal bonds with people that most others have. In a sense, you could almost call him relationship starved and attention seeking. It really doesn't help the situation that most of the villagers cast their eyes at him in utter disdain, ignoring the youth's existence or rather his humanity. Even so, his optimism shines through the heaviest of situations. When a cloud of doubt hangs over his head, he simply points toward the future as a source of hope and uses that as a driving force for his most emotionally taxing efforts.

It should be known that Naruto is not a quitter and dislikes quitting, but even so there are certain things that do cause his faith in his own abilities to drop. Seeing himself as a monster, he realized that the only way he would ever get others to change their views of him would be to become a great ninja and earn their respect that way. After all, with his parents gone the villagers are the closest thing he has to a family. Being ostracized by them literally negates the worth of his existence, but one day he believes he can prove himself to them.

A friendly soul, Naruto has a personable aura about himself and makes an effort to try to befriend nearly anyone. Even if they seem to have a tainted soul, he will try to get through to them and try to make some sort of connection.

As an extrovert and a hyperactive individual, he'll blurt out nearly anything that comes to mind. But as for his most guarded and personal thoughts, he'll forever keep them to himself. There are just some secrets about his mind and the flaws within his person that are meant to be safeguarded from others. To let down his guard all the way and let others in isn't something he often does not do unless he deems it necessary. Naruto is the type of individual who seeks to help settle others' pain, while hiding his own.

Born to the Fourth Hokage, Namikaze Minato and the former Kyuubi Jinchuuriki, Uzumaki Kushina, Naruto had been quickly orphaned while still an infant. Twelve years prior to present, his parents were both killed as a result of an attack on Konoha carried out by the Kyuubi. As a result of this attack, Konohagakure suffered heavy losses in personnel and heavy damage to their infrastructure. The end result of the entire encounter would be the sealing of the Kyuubi within the Fourth Hokage's infant son, casting a heavy burden upon the child before he could even choose for himself. Once the smoke cleared, the boy's parents would both be declared dead among with the hundreds of shinobi and other villagers.

Hatred and fear for the Kyuubi after the devastation would grow to impressive levels, eventually being transferred to Naruto, who would become the object of all their misguided feelings. Growing up without knowing either the identities of his parents or the fact he carried the Kyuubi within him, he would be subjected to the negative attitudes people felt for him. The villagers would hide his true identity from him while hating him or fearing him from a distance. They would tell their children not to interact with them and that he was a freak of nature. Some took that as an open invitation to bully the little blond, which they would do to a great extent.

Growing up without any family members, he turned to pranks to gain attention from others. Of course, this wasn't the most positive way to get attention, but any attention was good attention. As he got in trouble over the years, his reputation as a prankster grew and the villagers would detest the boy even more. Even so, the academy exams would eventually surface once more. After failing once again, he would be dejected as he would be subjected to the shame of still being an academy genin.

However, after being tricked into stealing a forbidden scroll by Mizuki and figuring out the truth of what he is, he would end up learning a fairly powerful jutsu in the hopes of being able to become a genin. Just when things seemed to be going his way, Mizuki would betray the young boy's trust. Thankfully, Iruka would come to his aid, but only to be defeated by the other chuunin. With the Shadow Clone Jutsu at his disposal, Naruto would dispatch the fleeing missing-nin and earn his headband as a genin. With this, his journey down the path of a ninja would truly begin.

Now assigned to Team 7 along with Uchiha Sasuke and Haruno Sakura, they would be led by a famous ninja by the name of Hatake Kakashi.
