APPEARANCE | Haruno Sakura is known for many things, but her appearance is something that has always seemed to stand out among her fellow Genin. Standing at 4 feet and 8 inches, Sakura is rather short. But that doesn't bother her as much as some of her other features. Sakura was born with broad forehead, one that gave her much shame growing up. It was so bad to the point that she was given the nickname of Billboard Brow. The girl also has long pink hair, styled to have bangs that covered her forehead as a means to cover her shameful feature and green eyes.

Her usual attire is that of a red qipao with short sleeves. Its decorated in white circular designs and a zipper in the front. She also wears a pair of dark green shorts and blue ninja boots. Her forehead protector is usually located upon her head, as a means to accentuate her face.

PERSONALITY | Sakura appears to be very well put together and prefers to be formal, calm and reliant on facts rather theories. Although she does have her moments when she can be very irrational, impulsive and hot tempered. This usually happens when people behave in a way she deems unacceptable or annoying. She can also be stubborn, holding her opinion,even if it might very well be wrong. But, she can also be loving, kind and cheerful.

The girl tends to keep much of her true feelings to herself as a means to keep a demeanor that is considered cool. Often times, her true feelings towards something are display through the reaction of another part of herself. This side is the one that is usually the most honest, reacting in the way that she wanted inwardly. But despite this security, Sakura has many moments of weakness where her feels are displayed physically, often in the form of violence or outbursts of rage. Throwing her rational state of mind to the wind.

She can also be very insecure, and questioning of herself. Easily jealous of others, she takes for granted the things she has and believes that others have things way better. Her views can often be very narrowed and opinionated, even when she doesn't have all the facts. Judgmental and even arrogant, even when she doesn't mean to be. At times, she doesn't even realize whats happening around her in till it's either too late, or revealed to her. In which case, she does attempt to try and make things right.

In the end, her strengths lie with her strong determination and her never give up attitude when everything is on the line. She shows true dedication to her friends and teammates and respect to those who are her elders.

Sakura was born as the only child and daughter of Kizashi and Mebuki Haruno. Her family life was relatively normal, both parents being very caring and supportive of the girl through her life. Though the girl suffered from a very low self image of herself. This was brought about by her broad forehead, which made her the target of teasing during her early childhood. Though she attempted to hide it through the use of her long pink bangs, it only made matters worse as people became more aware of her sensitivity towards it.

This continued into her years at the academy, but it soon changed when one of her classmates, Yamanaka Ino, came to her aid. She gave Sakura a red ribbon, and helped the young girl change her appearance to show the cuter features of her forehead and face, rather than their bad. This gave the young girl more confidence and slowly helped her overcome her insecurity of her appearance, it also gave her a new best friend. Sakura admired Ino and looked up to her like an older sibling. She trusted her opinion above anyone elses and developed her own personality under Ino's advice and guidence.

But as time went on, Sakura began to feel as though she was nothing more than the girl's shadow. Wishing to be more than that, she wanted to prove herself to be Ino's equal. But, she wasn't sure how to do it or if she wanted to. Though when she learned that Ino had a crush on Uchiha Sasuke, the same boy that Sakura had a crush on, it appeared that the time and almost fated moment had arrived. At that point, the girl ended their friendship, stating that only one of them could have Sasuke and it would be her. This then began their bitter rivialry.

At present, Sakura has just passed the Genin exam. As she awaits for the team pairings to begin, she secretly hopes to be placed within the same Squad as Sasuke, as means to deeping their love and gain his love in return.
