some jutsu information here is some info on jutsu.
As we all know, each ninja will need to have their own arsenal of jutsu. To help make it easier for you to choose your jutsu, here you can find information on what jutsu you're allowed to begin with. Remember, canon jutsu which you use should be found in the site indexes. If they are not in the site indexes, they should be assumed to be off limits.
Everyone, aside from some academy students, can start with all E-Ranks free. They don't count towards the amount of jutsu you can have. The E-ranks are:
Henge no Jutsu - Transformation Technique Bunshin no Jutsu - Clone Technique Nawanuke no Jutsu - Escape Technique Kawarimi no Jutsu - Substitution Technique Kakuremino no Jutsu - Cloak of Invisibility Technique

Starting Jutsu [/font] Below you can find how many techniques characters may start with upon profile creation. You can substitute higher ranking jutsu for lower ranking ones, but not the other way around. The following rules may not always apply toward canon characters:[/center] Genin Characters:4 D-rank, 2 C-Rank Chuunin Characters:5 D-rank, 4 C-Rank, 1 B-Rank Special Jounin Characters:6 D-rank, 6 C-Rank, 3 B-Rank, 1 A-Rank Jounin Characters:7 D-rank, 8 C-Rank, 5 B-Rank, 2 A-Rank Kage-level Characters:8 D-rank, 10 C-Rank, 7 B-Rank, 3 A-Rank, 1 S-Rank [/blockquote][/size]

some jutsu rules common & academy jutsu.
When used correctly, the basic academy jutsu can be very useful, especially in combat. However, in the series itself, these jutsu can be quite vague. At the same time, they can also feel cheap when overused while fighting someone in a "competitive" battle. For that reason, we are going to straighten some things out in order to make things more fair and to help fill holes in the canon jutsu descriptions.

Bunshin no jutsu [Clone Technique]:
Bunshin no Jutsu are illusionary clones, though they ARE ninjutsu. The reason that they are ninjutsu is because they are not affecting the target's mind like in genjutsu. Instead, they are composed of the user's chakra to create an image. They are incredibly unstable and will poof on contact. They DO cast shadows, though they make no sounds when they run and leave no footprints.
Kawarimi no Jutsu [Substitution Technique]:
Utilization of basic Kawarimi no Jutsu requires that you mention doing the hand seals for it in the post PRIOR to the one where you activate the technique. The technique itself isn't very chakra consuming. When using this technique, the shinobi must switch places with a nearby object. The range of this technique is 10 meters, though people with SPECTACULAR chakra control may use it at a much longer distance.
Henge no Jutsu [Transformation Technique]:
Henge no Jutsu itself isn't just an illusion. It actually changes the physical structure of a shinobi upon use and allows them to transform into something else. Using Henge quickly consumes chakra, so extended use can be very tiring. While in a transformed state, the user of the technique cannot use any other ninjutsu or genjutsu. Taking a hit while in this form will dispel the technique (though it can be followed up instantaneously by yet another transformation).
Nawanuke no Jutsu [Escaping Technique]:
Nawanuke no Jutsu, the Escaping Skill allows the user of the technique to get out of binding situations. On this site, however, you will only be able to escape the binding of someone up to one level above you (Chuunin can escape up to Jounin-level binding). This requires two things however. First of all, no enemies can be looking while the escape is occurring. Secondly, the bound person cannot escape the special binding of a ninjutsu technique.
Shuunshin no Jutsu [Bodyflicker Technique]:
Bodyflickers can be used for a quick dodge or get-a-way in only an instant. Using this technique, however, takes 1/3 of the users chakra per post that it is used (if you use it multiple times in the same post, it still only uses 1/3 of your chakra). Also, when you use this technique, you can use no other techniques in that post. When outside of combat, or if you aren't battling competitively, you can use the technique as much as you want without the chakra costs, so long as the person your are rping with doesn't mind.
Kai [Release] & Breaking Genjutsu:
Kai is a technique that is often used to dispel Genjutsu. However, different people can dispel different level of Genjutsu. It depends on their level of understanding genjutsu and chakra control. It goes as follows:
[/b] Primary- B rank Kai- A rank pain Secondary- C Rank Kai- B Rank pain Weakest- D Rank Kai- C Rank pain ChuuninPrimary- A rank Kai- S rank pain Secondary- B rank Kai- A rank pain Weakest- C rank Kai, B rank Pain JouninPrimary- S Rank Kai- S rank pain Secondary- A rank Kai- S rank pain Weakest- B rank Kai- A rank pain- S with assistance KagePrimary- S Rank Kai- S rank pain Secondary- A rank Kai- S rank pain Weakest- B rank Kai- A rank pain- S with assistance[/ul] Keep in mind there may be exceptions to this. For example, Tsukuyomi really can't be broken without mastery of Sharingan or a Bijuu. Also, depending on the situation, you may not be able to just simply Kai out of a genjutsu. Genjutsu affects the nervous system and thus you may not be thinking straight once caught. This depends on a case by case basis of the characters involved and if you have any conflicts during your thread, contact staff.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/size]
